How moggers makes money
Last updated September 25, 2026
Short version: some shopping links in moggers are affiliate links. If you tap one and buy something, the store may pay us a commission. You pay the same price either way.
What an affiliate link is
When moggers shows you something to buy (for example under "Shop similar" or "Complete the look"), the link may go through an affiliate network. If you buy from the store after tapping that link, the store pays us a small share of the sale.
- It costs you nothing extra. The price is the one the store sets.
- We never see your payment details. You check out on the store's own website.
- The store or network may use cookies to know the sale came from moggers. See our privacy policy for details.
Every affiliate link in the app has a short note right next to it: "We may earn a commission on purchases."
How we pick what to show you
Recommendations are ranked by fit to your closet and price:
- Fit to your closet: how well an item works with pieces you already own (category, color, fit, fabric, and the outfit slots you're missing).
- Price: including how it compares to what you usually pay.
Commission is only a tie-breaker. If two items are equally good matches at a similar price, the one that earns a commission may be listed first. Commission never pushes a worse match above a better one.
What we never do
- We never get paid to recommend a specific item, brand, or store.
- We don't show items that we'd only recommend because they pay more.
- We don't hide which links are affiliate links.
If a brand ever pays us directly for something (a sponsorship), it will be clearly labeled "Sponsored" or "Ad" right where you see it. We'll update this page before that happens.
Which programs we work with
Shopping links aren't live yet. When they are, each affiliate program we use will be listed here first.
